Welcome to my online living room, where there is room for everyone. Let me introduce myself.

I have served 32 years as a pastor with congregations in Kentucky, Virginia and Maryland. I’ve created a way of life that combines all of my joys. I continue to explore God’s beauty through nature and people. I’m committed to service as a way of life. This has led me to embrace varieties of opportunities to serve others.

Here’s a little more about me:

I am a fully trained, certified coach with the International Coaching Federation; a certified facilitator with Healthy Congregations, and a certified trainer with the Holy Cow consulting group. I coach pastors and leaders of congregations, helping them develop and deepen essential skills for long-term flourishing. My deepest joy is working with individuals and groups as they seek generative ways to come alive, address conflict and discover the call of God in their lives. I am the Pastor for Discipleship for Good Shepherd Lutheran Church ELCA, and recently concluded pastoral service in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.

I have two books: Beyond Fairness: the Stories of Jesus and Walking in Love: My Journey Along the Camino de Santiago.

My wife, Claudia and I live in Maryland. Our adult daughters, Rachel and Rebecca, and their respective husbands, Jorge and Aiden, along with Stevie the Wonder Dog, live near us in Maryland.
