Steady on

At the conclusion of nearly every Sunday service, through many sad and tumultuous times, I would offer this charge. I offer it today, because the work remains the same, in season and out. Steady on.

have courage;
hold on to what is good;
return no one evil for evil;
support the weak;
help the suffering;
honor all people;
love and serve the Lord,
rejoicing in the power of the Holy Spirit.
